On November 28 in San Francisco, WAJ members were invited to attend this exclusive Nissan dealer unveiling of its long-awaited supercar, the GT-R.
In addition, we were the first group of journalists anywhere to see the new Nissan FORUM concept minivan, which offers an array of "innovative family communications systems" such as one-button audio muting, 2nd- and 3rd-row monitoring cameras and individual seat-mounted speakers for each row. The FORUM concept makes its public debut in January 2008 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Photos were forbidden in advance of the concept's public debut.
The GT-R launches in the Japanese market in December 2007 and hits the U.S. market in June '08. This supercar cranks out 473 hp from a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6. Prices will start around $70K.
